Meetings on meetings on meetings (just today I had 3 big meetings!), interviews, managing an upcoming food drive, managing 3 homes in contract, and managing upcoming listings. The pinnacle of the week culminates on Thursday & Friday; and I’m so excited to share more with you! 🏡 When I am deep in the trenches, I make sure to pause and take it in. This is the life I’ve built over 12 years. This is the life I prayed for. stephsellsseattle Sometimes it’s exhausting being an “aware” person, am I right? The fact that there’s barely a snowpack across the globe has me ready to stock up on air filters, and rain barrels. I absolutely love the sunshine we’ve been having, while acknowledging that it’s still quite concerning. The good news is that precipitation is on the way, and hopefully we’ll get some Winter. I’m also considering new landscaping/hardscaping with climate change and fire seasons in mind. From the Department of Natural Resources for Washington State: “Studies show that as many as 80 percent of homes lost to wildland fire may have been saved if brush around the homes were cleared and defensible space created around structures.” It’s also important to consider drought-resistant landscaping, hardscaping/Xeri scaping, and reconsidering having Arborvitae on your property.
