This is the first bloom in my garden for the year. 🌺 My Camellia shrub has been transplanted 3 times, and she is still surviving. Some of her leaves are yellow, still, after being in this last spot for more than a couple of years, but her blooms shine through, and bring such joy. I think that is a metaphor for life. We can still bloom where we are planted, even if circumstances and conditions aren’t ideal.
I welcome this first bloom in my yard with open arms and smiling eyes. I can’t wait for the rest of my garden to come to life. 💕
