My garden is starting to wake up and the first rose blooms are emerging 🥹 My Spanish lavender is also coming in beautifully, but I am a bit worried about my lack of bee friends. Normally my lavender is buzzing like a busy café and I have only seen 2 bees in the past couple of days.
We’ve had such little rain that I’ve already had to water some of my perennial garden, which is wild. But I am realizing this is likely our new normal. My side yard is getting a drought-tolerant refresh, and I’m so excited for that to come together. I can’t wait to see what this year’s blooms have in store for me. 💕

Today was the warmest day of the year so far, and it was an absolute dream to have all of the windows & doors open— including the door to the garage with the main garage open. It created the most incredible breeze circulating throughout my home as we tackled Spring Cleaning & Sunday Reset: patio furniture refresh & cleaning, de-cluttering & pulling items for donations, and laundry.
I put on some classic rock & Americana, and put my phone away for a few hours.
As I was hanging some of my clothes up to take upstairs, I felt so grateful for the day, and for the ability to find the simple joys in everyday moments.

I had all the windows open while I dusted & watered my plants. I hung all the bedding out on the line to try today and it smells like summer now.

While that’s going on, I’ll be at my first Mariners game of the season with my family, to enjoy the gorgeous sights, some ice cream nachos, and most importantly, witness Randy Johnson’s number retirement ceremony. I have such a soft spot in my heart for all of our 90s and 00s @mariners!
Fun fact: my husband’s 13th birthday is the day that Randy Johnson threw a no-hitter, and he chose not to go to that game. He still kicks himself for not going!

☀️I did a lot of research today for a client whom finalized their new construction home preferences
☀️I connected a buyer looking outside of my service area with a referral to a trusted broker
☀️I prepped for a consultation with a different buyer that was referred *to* me and connected them with a trusted lender partner
☀️Mailed a package to one of my seller clients who moved and had a few random deliveries slip through the address change
☀️Collaborated with my operations manager on a couple of marketing pieces I’m looking forward to
After wrapping up at my desk, I decided to lie down on the couch in my office to enjoy the warm sunshine and Honey jumped on my stomach to cuddle.
She is solar powered, just like me, and such a loving friend to keep me company. During one of my breaks today, we sat in the rose garden together, and I looked at all of the buds ready to bloom in just a few short weeks. I cannot wait!
The next 6 months are my favorite stretch of the year, and the best is yet to come 💕
